Dance Artists in Columbus (DAC)
Co-Administrator, Web Admin & Member
DAC is a group of independent dance-artists and organizations who are working together to foster the growth and development of the Columbus, OH dance community through collaboration, advocacy and information-sharing.
In 2009, many of the dance-artists, companies and presenters gathered together at quarterly meetings to discuss viable ways to collaborate and build our local, professional dance community.
DAC’s focus is on independent dance-artists and entities that make, produce and support professional-level dance projects across genres and inclusive of art forms in other disciplines. DAC often consults with area experts in journalism, theatre, funding, advocacy and presentation in order to harvest the most current and applicable knowledge and trends relevant to our community.
